the enjoyment of travelling bau la lojban

Bruce and jimc were working on how to express the route place when it is
obviously different by different transport modes.

I won;t argue with Bruce as to whether route is important to the
comparison in his attempted statement, but >I< for one would make my
decision about preferred mode at least partially based on route, as well
as where I'm going from/to. I would normally prefer plane travel to
boat travel, but might prefer the latter if travelling 3 miles down the
Potomac River, or if the former involved passing through a war zone,
etc.

What he seems to be comparing, is travelling in its general nature, where
the route for each mode is 'appropriate' or 'typical'. This is not "zo'e",
but the very similar "zu'i": the typical value filling in this place.
I would probably use litru, because it connotes to me a DE-EMPHASIS on
where you are going or coming from because it omits normal places that
I associate with "going".

jimc poses:
>Another definition problem: I couldn't locate a decent translation of
>"like" or "enjoy". zdile-amuse was the closest I could get.

nelci, for the former, and a pair of related and well-accepted lujvo for
the latter (among the oldest in Lojban): zanlifri and xaglifri
