Your English translation suggests that this is equative & could
equally well be _Tiger is him_. Would "[he] is entity-named-_Tiger_"
be a better translation?

What does _la tirxu_ refer to here? Does it refer to the *name* _tirxu_
or does it refer to the category of things named _Tirxu_? Ah, no -
sorry - I see you already answered that, thus:

But in this case _le cmene_ is not a name but rather is a category
of named entities - pretty well the same thing as _le se cmene_!

Surely the x1 of cmene must refer to a name, so _la .And. cu cmene mi_
is wrong in the way _le tirxu cu gismu_ is.
