Word?
On another mailing list a request was made for a word meaning, "beating the
greasy spot on the ground where the dead horse used to be." I'm sure our
experts will have no trouble with this. :-) The closest suggestion so far
is necrohipposadism, which is rather distant from what we want. I got as
far as
(((morsi xirma) (grasu stuzi)) darxi
but I don't know the connectives or the tenses well enough to finish it. I
believe we want a tense for "was but has not been for some time".
