Just to make the question more concrete, you've got one.  I could
set up one or more lists as needed on short notice if there were
sufficient interest.  Rather than cluttering /this/ list with
discussion about that, I would ask the members to mail me personally
with comments pro and con; if there are lots of pros and few cons,
I'll do it.  If not, well then the issue has been decided with
full information.
