Re: TECH: panra/simsa

I think of parallel lines and other parallels as being mutually
reflexive entities. Most often, the parallel entities are of the same
kind: two boats, two sets of laws, two lines. The entities being
described all fit in first place.

{simsa}, on the other hand, is well defined as is (no one is
suggesting a change). {simsa} would more often be used to compare
entities of differing kind: boat to house, monarchy to business,
sphere to line.

Here is a definition:

        panra parallel
x1 (more than one entity) are similar to/parallel to each
other in characteristic x2, differing only in property x3
            (ka; jo'u/fa'u term)

Here are some examples:

le ci bloti cu panra lo ni mitre vau lo ni junta
The three boats are similar in length, differing in weight.

lo flalu be fi la frikos e la bemros e la ketcos cu panra
lo nu valsi vau lo li'i smuni
The laws of Africa and North and South America are
similar in the event of words,
differing in the experience of meaning/interpretation.

Parallel lines:

lo na'e cimni linji cu panra lo ni sepli vau
    lo ni mitre
The other-than-infinite lines are similar in gap/interval/separation,
    differing in length.

lo cimni linji cu panra lo ni sepli
The infinite lines are similar in gap/interval/separation.

Great circles:

lo bardysruri cu panra lo li'i simxu kruca
Great encirculars are similar in mutually intersecting.

{simsa} does not change:

        simsa smi similar
            x1 is similar to/like x2 in property/quantity x3 (ka/ni)

lo bloti cu simsa lo dinju lo ka zdani
A boat is similar to a building in the property of nest-ness.
