I don't agree that:

as claimed by John. In Lojban, events are sumti. bridi describe
relationships. That "vi" expands in Lojban to "viku" or perhaps to "vi ti",
it does NOT change the predicate/relationship that is being claimed, but
merely adds in a location place to the relationship. There are also tenses
that cannot be associated with specific events, such as those of TAhE and
CAhA.
