At any rate, the intent of cikre is that when something complex is broken,
you may choose to fix onlyu one function, or to enable it for only a limited
use.  I know that when I take my car to the shop, there are numerous things
that are chronically wrong with it, but only some of them are fixed.

I have a weaker argument for x4, which on further thought is probably always
going to be embedded in x3.  But I'm not sure of this.
